With the Queensland Government easing COVID-19 restrictions we’re so excited to welcome you back with your favourite stores re-opened.

Your safety remains our priority. To ensure your health and wellbeing, hand sanitiser stations and social distancing signs are installed throughout the centre and regular cleaning occurs, focusing on frequently touched surfaces and high traffic areas.

When you visit, please follow these simple guidelines to protect yourself and others:

  • Check in using the Check In QLD app.
  • Wear a face mask (unless an exemption applies).
  • Keep a safe distance of 1.5 metres.
  • Wash or sanitise your hands regularly.
  • Respect store capacity limits and queue where necessary.
  • Stay home if you are unwell.

COVID-19 Update | 31 July 2021

In response to the latest Queensland Government lockdown announcement, you may see some temporary changes at Caloundra Shopping Centre.

Shopping centres are considered an essential service. Supermarkets, fresh food, pharmacies, newsagencies, post offices, liquor, financial and medical providers remain open for you. In addition, cafes and restaurants are open for takeaway. 

We recommend contacting individual stores for their trading times during this period.


The restrictions will remain in place until 4:00pm Sunday 8 August 2021.

To ensure your health and wellbeing hand sanitiser stations and social distancing signs are installed throughout the centre and regular cleaning occurs, focusing on frequently touched surfaces and high traffic areas.

  1. Wear a mask. Exemptions apply for children under 12 years old and those with medical reasons.
  2. Check in to the centre and all supermarkets, hair and beauty salons, and fast food and casual dining establishments you visit using the Check In QLD app. QR codes are located at centre and store entrances.
  3. Keep a safe distance of 1.5 metres.
  4. Wash or sanitise your hands regularly.
  5. Respect store capacity limits and queue where necessary.
  6. Stay home if you’re unwell.

COVID-19 Update | 29 June 2021

As per QLD Government requirements, from 6pm Tuesday 29 June until 6pm Friday 2 July, South East Queensland will be subject to stay-at-home orders.

During this time, you can only leave your residence for limited permitted purposes such as:

  • Obtaining essential goods or services, including healthcare
  • Exercise
  • Attending essential work or childcare
  • Assisting vulnerable persons

COVID-19 Update | 28 June 2021

As per QLD Government requirements, from 1am Tuesday 29 June, wearing masks will be compulsory when visiting and shopping at the centre.

At Caloundra Shopping Centre, the safety of our customers, retailers, partners, and employees is our top priority. To ensure your health and wellbeing while you shop we have implemented hand sanitiser stations, regular cleaning, social distancing signage and QR check in codes in-centre.

COVID-19 Update | 10 June 2021

Queensland Health has advised that a customer, who has subsequently tested positive to COVID-19, attended Caloundra Shopping Centre on Monday 7 June 2021.

Anyone who attended The Coffee Club on this date between 10:45am – 11:10am are considered close contacts and are instructed by Queensland Health to get tested at their earliest opportunity, quarantine, complete an online contact tracing form and await contact from Queensland Health staff.

Anyone who attended Kmart (women’s section) on this date between 10:45am – 11:30am are considered casual contacts and are instructed by Queensland Health to get tested at their earliest opportunity, quarantine, complete an online contact tracing form and await contact from Queensland Health staff.

Caloundra Shopping Centre underwent a full deep clean of the centre overnight and will continue with regular cleaning on an ongoing basis. Hand sanitiser stations are available throughout the centre, plus social distancing signage to ensure your health and wellbeing while you shop.

In line with Queensland Health advice, the centre remains open with COVID-safe procedures in place. The health and safety of retailers, staff, customers, contractors and partners is our absolute priority and we are taking all necessary precautions and implementing all recommendations from Queensland Health to minimise risk to the local community.

COVID-19 Update | 9 June 2021

Queensland Health has today advised that a customer, who has subsequently tested positive to COVID-19, attended Caloundra Shopping Centre on Monday 7 June 2021.

Anyone who attended The Coffee Club on this date between 10:50am – 11:05am are considered close contacts and are instructed by Queensland Health to get tested at their earliest opportunity and quarantine at home for 14 days.

Anyone who attended Kmart (women’s section) on this date between 11:00am – 11:15am are considered casual contacts and are instructed by Queensland Health to get tested at their earliest opportunity and quarantine at home until a negative test result is received.

Caloundra Shopping Centre will be undertaking a full deep clean of the centre tonight at close of trade. We will continue with regular cleaning on an ongoing basis and have hand sanitiser stations available throughout the centre, plus social distancing signage to ensure your health and wellbeing while you shop.

In line with Queensland Health advice, the centre remains open with COVID-safe procedures in place.
